The owner Hanneke is super friendly and helpful - she even gave me a lift to a kiln on the other side of town! The guesthouse is really nicely designed and feels very welcoming. It's a little far from most of the sites in Arita such as the ceramics musuem and pottery shop street, but it was such a nice place to stay it didn't bother me.

The breakfast was delicious & all the staff were so helpful & attentive, with excellent recommendations for eating out. We would have liked to have stayed longer .....

It was a luxurious hotel in the Onsen town of Ureshino that completely blew us away. The rooms were large and spacious, very well appointed and well laid out. The staff were extremely attentive and there were lots common areas to relax in. The open air onsen and saunas were also well laid out. A bit on the expensive side but a great place to splurge once in a while!

The host and her husband were angels. The house is gorgeous, well located, extremely well equipped and great value. The host provided extremely clear and useful instructions on things to do and even took us to see night-time cherry blossom bloom and to the Takeo shrine. In the morning the host and her husband took us to the Takeo station so we didn't get soaked in the pouring rain. The beds were also extremely comfortable and we both slept so well and it was quiet, we could only hear the sound of rain.
