250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. I've stayed in quite a few hostels around the world and this is definitely amongst the best, if not the best. The owners and staff have thought of everything that guests in Beppu would need: slippers, tote-bags (for clothes) and even toiletries that one would require to explore the nearby onsen. There's also a drinks bar that's free-to-use (to hydrate after that onsen soak) and a comic collection with books which one can borrow and bring to their rooms freely. The room itself was spacious (perhaps a bit too much; this coming from a solo traveller who booked the cheapest three-bed economy option), complete and best of all, soundproof. That last quality is a rarity amongst rarities here in Japan and it was something that I really, really appreciated. All-in-all, a gem of a place. Highly recommended!

The host is so fantastic. We booked this property as we read so many fantastic comments about him and he did not disappoint. A wealth of information and recommendations. Cooked family dinners and Japanese sweets just for us to try. Highly recommend!

Ubytovanie GRAND VERDE RESORT ponúka saunu a bezplatné súkromné parkovisko a je vzdialené 41 km od miesta Oita Bank Dome a 11 km od miesta Jazero Kinrinko. The food and service were exceptional. It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

Ubytovanie 湯布院我楽珍民泊Yufuin Garakuchin sa nachádza v destinácii Yufu v oblasti Oita 44 km od miesta Oita Bank Dome. The host was super friendly and attentive. He picked us up after dinner and took us into town the next morning based on the time most convenient for us. Room was big and clean. Separate tatami area was spacious. Onsen on premise was great! A very comfortable stay!

Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Ubytovanie 天ゆふ(Ten Yufu) sa nachádza približne 4 min. chôdze od miesta Jazero Kinrinko. Ponúka výhľad na jazero a hostia tu majú k dispozícii terasu a balkón. The location is just right at the Kinrin Lake. With 1 bath house at the front and across the street is a public onsen right beside the lake. It is the whole house to your group and can easily fit 5 people with a spare space to move around. (But there's only one parking slot). As it's a house, it comes with kitchen and accessory. Very family friendly. Can cook nabe or BBQ. The carpark is a bit hard to find but seriously, it's like the most unique parking place ever. Not everyday that you can park beside a hole on the ground with hot spring water running and many fishes.

Excellent location, right in the city centre Kitahama district, 10 minutes walk from the Beppu station, surrounded by restaurants. The sushi place right next door was excellent, with the best miso soup I have ever had! The property is spacious, very clean, excellent facilities for self-catering, good toiletries. We stayed for 3 nights and it was an oasis to come back to after a tiring day of being a tourist. My wife didn't find the futon beds comfortable (too thin) but I had no complaints. The heating worked well on cold mornings. The layout of the WC, separate from the wash basin/laundry area, and shower/bath was a bit weird but no problem at all.

I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Ubytovanie Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA sa nachádza v destinácii Beppu 26 km od miesta Oita Bank Dome a má výhľad na mesto. Place was better than expected! Owner was a lovely lady who went out of her way to serve her guests and answer any questions. I wish I had the time to stay for longer to enjoy the town and the accommodations.
