In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. The owner is super cool and likes to engage with his guests. He showed me and other guests how to make (cook) a local specialty and played a card game. I had a blast. The owner is also a fan of anime and Pokémon, he decorated entire rooms with posters/ Pokémon cards. If you are interested in that, you can even buy Pokémon cards from him. The shared sleep space is also comfortable.

GRAND VERDE RESORT er með gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er í innan við 41 km fjarlægð frá Oita Bank Dome og 11 km frá Kinrinko-vatni. The food and service were exceptional. It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

1.7 km from Kinrinko Lake in Yufu, 湯布院我楽珍民泊Yufuin Garakuchin provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. The host was super friendly and attentive. He picked us up after dinner and took us into town the next morning based on the time most convenient for us. Room was big and clean. Separate tatami area was spacious. Onsen on premise was great! A very comfortable stay!

Situated 42 km from Oita Bank Dome, 湯布院月灯り offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. I had the most amazing time here!!!! The owner is the sweetest person ever, I arrived around 7pm and she suggested i take a bath while she cooked me dinner. I felt right at home. I had the double room which was so comfy and spacious. It’s very quiet and there’s a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. Everything was so clean. The morning breakfast was amazing and she also accommodated for my dietary restrictions (vegetarian). She drove me to the train station when I left. The place is 20min from the main attractions and its a beautiful walk. I stayed for 2 days and it was perfect to relax from a long trip. Thank you again 🧡🙏🏻

Gististaðurinn er vel staðsettur í Yufuin Onsen-hverfinu í Yufu, Yufuin Tsuru no Yu er staðsett í 1 km fjarlægð frá Kinrinko-stöðuvatninu, 23 km frá Beppu-stöðinni og 35 km frá Oita-stöðinni. Excellent breakfast Very friendly staff Excellent location (half a minute walk from Yufuin high street) Free parking Very nice and clean modern building. Very clean onsen (you can lock the door of onsen, so it is kind of a private onsen!)

Located in Yufu, 42 km from Oita Bank Dome and 400 metres from Kinrinko Lake, 天ゆふ(Ten Yufu) offers a garden and air conditioning. The location is just right at the Kinrin Lake. With 1 bath house at the front and across the street is a public onsen right beside the lake. It is the whole house to your group and can easily fit 5 people with a spare space to move around. (But there's only one parking slot). As it's a house, it comes with kitchen and accessory. Very family friendly. Can cook nabe or BBQ. The carpark is a bit hard to find but seriously, it's like the most unique parking place ever. Not everyday that you can park beside a hole on the ground with hot spring water running and many fishes.

Okuyado Buaiso has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yufu, 41 km from Oita Bank Dome. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.
