I've stayed in quite a few hostels around the world and this is definitely amongst the best, if not the best. The owners and staff have thought of everything that guests in Beppu would need: slippers, tote-bags (for clothes) and even toiletries that one would require to explore the nearby onsen. There's also a drinks bar that's free-to-use (to hydrate after that onsen soak) and a comic collection with books which one can borrow and bring to their rooms freely. The room itself was spacious (perhaps a bit too much; this coming from a solo traveller who booked the cheapest three-bed economy option), complete and best of all, soundproof. That last quality is a rarity amongst rarities here in Japan and it was something that I really, really appreciated. All-in-all, a gem of a place. Highly recommended!

The host is so fantastic. We booked this property as we read so many fantastic comments about him and he did not disappoint. A wealth of information and recommendations. Cooked family dinners and Japanese sweets just for us to try. Highly recommend!

The food and service were exceptional. It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

湯布院我楽珍民泊Yufuin Garakuchin está en Yufu, en la región de Oita, a 15 min a pie de Museo de Motos Yufuin. The host was super friendly and attentive. He picked us up after dinner and took us into town the next morning based on the time most convenient for us. Room was big and clean. Separate tatami area was spacious. Onsen on premise was great! A very comfortable stay!

天ゆふ(Ten Yufu), que cuenta con vistas al lago, dispone de alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 42 km de Oita Bank Dome. The location is just right at the Kinrin Lake. With 1 bath house at the front and across the street is a public onsen right beside the lake. It is the whole house to your group and can easily fit 5 people with a spare space to move around. (But there's only one parking slot). As it's a house, it comes with kitchen and accessory. Very family friendly. Can cook nabe or BBQ. The carpark is a bit hard to find but seriously, it's like the most unique parking place ever. Not everyday that you can park beside a hole on the ground with hot spring water running and many fishes.

This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

El Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA se encuentra en Beppu, a 400 metros de Hyotan Onsen, y ofrece vistas a la ciudad. Place was better than expected! Owner was a lovely lady who went out of her way to serve her guests and answer any questions. I wish I had the time to stay for longer to enjoy the town and the accommodations.
