There's a communal bath that is very good. Food was also very nice.

The spacious Japanese and Western rooms have free WiFi. Dinner was excellent and very interesting, lots of new flavors and the waitress was super nice. Same with the breakfast, excellent. The onsen was amazing and the room was beautiful, very big, and had everything we could ever need. It was also super close to the station. The consierge spoke at least japanese, english and spanish. I would totally recommend and stay there again.

Lovely location in the forest -- it's very quiet and scenic. At the same time it's still accessible by taxi so no issues even if you have more luggage. Great wooden bathtub and amazing bathroom products (full Aesop range). Tasty, varied and well portioned meals. You really feel spoiled by the staff, e.g. alcohol is included with meals, free minibar, complimentary matcha tea and snacks.

The amenities had everything we needed during our stay, and the beds were very comfortable. If you want to make your own food the kitchen is also well equipped. Each room had its own heating so we didn't have to worry about the cooler weather this time of year. The host gave us all the information we needed to access the property in English, so if you can't speak Japanese it's no problem.
