Close to station, exceptional and really nice staff (we spoke half Japanese half English), spacious and comfortable bed/room.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. This felt like less of a hotel stay and more of an experience as a whole. If you are exploring Nara I would recommend taking at least a day to just enjoy this hotel stay. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who helped us with every little thing, from taking our luggage to ordering a taxi for our departure. We were served luxurious meals for dinner and breakfast in our room, by staff who set our table and made our bed. The location was magical with beautiful nature and deers roaming around outside. They had an amazing natural hot spring bath as well. Would warmly recommend this place.

La pintoresca pensió d'estil japonès Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast es troba al centre de Nara, a 10 minuts amb taxi de l'estació de tren JR de Nara. Overall a great experience and a highlight of our trip - amazing host, excellent dinner and breakfast (make sure to order these when staying here!), very cozy Japanese-style rooms. Good location, too - very peaceful neighborhood, but still close to all the sights. We'll be sure to stay here again next time we're in Nara!

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Being immersed in the temple world, staying overnight adds an extra dimension. The early morning fire ceremony. The meals.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Good location, friendly staff, very good traditional food, the room was great, the futon bed very confortable. It was an awsome japanese experience.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the manager of the hotel and her assistant, and treated like kings throughout first showing us our rooms, and then when serving dinner in the private dinner room. If you like Kaiseki dinner, then you are in for a treat because the food is very good. They also offer vegetarian or Halal options which is excellent. The location is in the middle of a nice forest from where you can hike to the top and then get a nice view of Osaka, and it's an easy hike. We came a bit late to the hotel which unfortunately did not allow us to fully experience the Ryokan on the first day. If you come here, you can come early to Nara, leave your luggage in the lockers near the station (they are cheaper right outside than inside the station), and then walk around the deer park and to the temple (won't take more than 2 hours). Then have a meal, go to the Ryokan, take a walk around the forest, come back for a nice bath, then have your dinner, after which you can relax in your room. I feel this will give you the full experience.

Super cute, new and clean house, the owner just renovated it recently. They even put complimentary snacks and tea in the house, very well equipped with everything.

Located in Nara, the recently renovated 奈良公園徒歩15分古民家リノベーション貸切一軒家 Guest House奈良紀寺 provides accommodation 20 km from Iwafune Shrine and 23 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium. Location is good. The host is friendly and happy to help.
