Offering a garden and quiet street view, Shimanto Riverside Hideaway is situated in Shimanto, 12 km from Shimanto Historical Museum and 12 km from Ichijo Shrine. We stayed 3 Nights in this beautiful place and it was defenitly worth it. I highly recommand to stay at least 3 nights! Kenji our Host is very friendly and helpful. He gave us good recommandations and organized a lovely dinner at his House. The accomandation is absolutely beautiful. It is a traditional japanese House and Kenji is taking care about every detail. There is a fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and toilette is shared with other guests, but since there was only another couple staying, it was not a Problem at all. The nature and the surrounding is astonoshing. We took a Bath every Morning in the River, this was one of our Highlights.

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. cozy place by the river, it’s vicinity has everything within 10 mins if you have a car They have a whole deal of basic equipments for cooking so if YU prefer to have a fancy breakfast at the place it’s quite manageable If weather permits, BBQ grills and outdoor sitting areas are pretty chill very friendly and helpful staff is the best aspect of them all.

Situated in Shimanto-cho, EkimaehouseSamaru is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto and 24 km from Monjudo Temple. The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

Situated in Konan in the Kochi region, Guesthouse Suisennosato features a garden. I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. The place is located in a calm and beautiful area, it is well maintained and the owners were really nice and helpful people.

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. One of the best hostels I have been to in Japan. The staff were amazing, the place was comfortable and cosy and it had a really nice atmosphere throughout the whole stay. Have to mention that the owners were very helpful with anything I needed and were super friendly.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Carpe Diem Kamaida is set in Ochi, 22 km from Hijiri Shrine and 23 km from Odo Dam Museum. Excellent Hidden Property along the Niyodogawa river. Just beside the Aso Submersible Bridge. The quality of the house is so excellent that it is too underrated and the photos don’t do justice. The actual house seems to be so better and witty visiting.

It's a very beautiful house, all quite new. very cosy to sleep upstairs under the roof :) it smells fantastic wood and the surrounding is so beautiful. close to the river all you hear is nature.... it was one of our favourite stays. the owners are amazing, too. we were even allowed to join a cross fit session and the long exchanges we had about japanese culture were super interesting. our son was amazed to find nice children to play with :) we'd highly recommend :)
