Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. the hotel facilities were great , the room was huge ; there is free shutteles from the hotel to the train station

We stayed with our 1.5 year old and enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are quite spacious in Japanese standards. Staff are very helpful with excellent English. Liked the lounge with nice terrace.

We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Host is a kind, talkative person. The japanese breakfast is amazing and tasty. If you want to travel to Kamakura, here will be your best choice and experience.
