The house was an incredibly cute and well-kept traditional Japanese home. It was clean, comfortable, and bright. It also had all the necessary amenities for a perfect Naoshima weekend.

Our stay at Asan Kotonami was nothing short of extraordinary! Spending one night in this traditional ryokan was an unforgettable experience. Everything about the stay was perfect, from the serene ambiance to the impeccable service. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The traditional 10-course meals provided a cultural experience unlike any other. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a feast for both the palate and the eyes. It was a culinary journey that left me wishing I had booked at least two nights so I could indulge in these amazing meals again and again. What impressed me even more was the accommodation's accommodation of our gluten-intolerant guest. Next time I visit, I'll definitely plan for a longer stay at Asan Kotonami. This place is a gem that offers an authentic and immersive experience into Japanese culture and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to create lasting memories during their stay in Japan.

The little house is very clean and had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend Mrs. Maroulla’s House.

This was the most outstanding property we stayed at while in Japan for 3 weeks. It was authentic, the beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless, and the neighborhood was very quiet.
