Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect, from picking us up at the station to assisting with bicycle rentals and even surprising us with a reservation at a fantastic restaurant at night. And the thoughtful gesture of a gift for our honeymoon was truly touching. The morning was just as delightful, with the hosts seamlessly organizing our tickets, making our experience effortless and enjoyable. As for the accommodations, they were simply divine. The house itself was spacious and charming, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The abundance of food and amenities in the bathroom added an extra layer of comfort, making us feel right at home. In short, we couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and comfortable stay.

This accommodation left a lasting impression on us during our brief stay. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to welcome us warmly to Takamatsu and provide invaluable advice on what to experience in the city. We were blown away by their hospitality and felt disappointed that we had only booked one evening at their lovely home. This experience has left such a positive impact on us that it makes me want to visit Takamatsu again.

The owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful in organising car hire to booking restaurants. Fantastic visit to Naoshima - couldn’t recommend it more highly

The owner Inoue was very helpful and responsive to questions prior to arriving. She was delightful. Nice breakfast provisions for the first morning. The Restaurant Aura very close by is AMAZING!

The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

This is a charming, spacious traditional Japanese house, very comfortable, with many wonderful art books to enjoy. The best are the owners, Kuni and Akkie, for whom we have not enough words of thanks: for their warmth, kindness and worry to make the best of our stay, besides all the useful information regarding the visit, restaurants and trip to Teshima. Mostly recommended!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost
