Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is set in Sapporo, 14 km from Sapporo Station and 25 km from Otaru Station. What a host! I have never stayed in a guest house with such a welcoming and engaging host. I really felt like the owner and host cared about their guests a lot and made their stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed engaging with the other guests in this guesthouse, which enables people to get to know each other during breakfast, at the bar or in the common room. The facilities were nicely designed and decorated. Despite the distance to the centre of Sapporo, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to everyone. Additionally, the shorter distance to Teine Olympia and Highland Ski Resort and Otaru is very convenient. This guesthouse is perfectly located in between Sapporo Downtown and Otaru, which both are worth a visit.

The hostel is extremely clean and well-kept, but the best part is the staff— the owner and his friend, who run the establishment together, are great — so kind and helpful and caring. Highly recommended!

She's a friend, a drinking buddy, and a tour guide all in one <3 Thank you so much for the comfortable and homey stay. I love the rooms and everyone's so friendly! There's a convenience store nearby and the surrounding area is quiet.
