The owner 'Mayoko' san is very kind. She give some free drink and coffee every time for her own guest, and 1000 yen dinner also delicious!. Room is also very clean and wide. Wifi also strong. And I saw samisen play during staying time. Mayoko San is expert of playing samisen, which is old japan music tool. If you want relax in Japan's rural place, I highly recommend this place.

Tanehachi Farm Guesthouse - Vacation STAY 29709v is situated in Aomori, 25 km from Shin-Aomori Station, 38 km from Hakkoda Ski Area, as well as 41 km from Shichinohe-Towada Station. I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

It’s warm and clean. The hosts are very nice and kind. Especially the shared bathroom, the shower place has its own dry and wet area which is really thoughtful.

Located 42 km from Lake Towada, 50 km from Tsuta Hot Spring and 11 km from Hirosaki Castle, Misato Memorial Hall - Vacation STAY 61405v provides accommodation situated in Hirakawa. This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip to Japan! Tama is a wonderful host and will advise on what to do around Hiraka and Hirosaki, the place is clean and cozy and the cats are adorable (especially Fox!). Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Misato Memorial Hall if you're travelling and want to know more about Japan and the Japanese culture. Thank you Tama for the excellent stay!

Kuroishi - House - Vacation STAY 87006 is set in Kuroishi, 42 km from Tsuta Hot Spring, 15 km from Hirosaki Castle, as well as 27 km from Sukayu Onsen. The convenient location. The friendly host and also the amazing building!

Located in Aomori, 21 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 15 km from Aomori Station, Tsubakikan offers a garden and air conditioning. This ryokan provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Incredibly hospitable service. Great breakfast. Very clean and overall great expereince.

Surrounded by lush nature on Mount Hakkoda, Tsuta Onsen Ryokan offers a hot spring bath, Japanese cuisine and a free shuttle to/from Shichinohe-Towada. I didn’t regret for booking 2N here. It’s not cheap but there’s some which are even more expensive… We paid ¥58908 half board ( dinner +breakfast) each night for a couple. They’ve a welcome drink ( apple juice n coffee) daily. There’s a large relaxing room with comfortable chairs for you to admire the garden n ice-creams ( though very small ones) provided n water . We were given 15 min onsen free for couple-room which you can paid for 1-hr usage if you like to spend longer time with your spouse. They’ve gender segregated onsen for hotel guests free. The meals are just heavenly. Staff are helpful n friendly n can speak some English ( very important for non-locals like us who don’t speak n understand Japanese ) Definitely will come back if visiting this place again. Lastly want to thank Tsuta Onsen Ryokan and Booking.com for their alliance together so that I can book confidently without worry ( some ryokans only book via their website n it’s all in Japanese 😅🤣🥹) .
