Situated in Flateyri, in a historic building, 21 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring, The Old Bookstore is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge. Very charming historical Icelandic house, turned into a guesthouse. Our room was big enough, with a comfortable bed and nice views. Loved the shared dinning area, and the reading room. Good breakfast. The bookstore in the ground floor has plenty of old-style and well chosen products, plus an array of books about Iceland and the Westfjords.

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

Located in Kaldrananes, Hvammur 3 Hrakhólar with private hot tub offers an open-air bath, a garden and a barbecue. The property has river and garden views. House is awesome, location amazing and the hot tub is just perfect.

Sunna's Guesthouse is located in Drangsnes and offers barbecue facilities. This guest house provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Comfortable with plenty of room, well equipped, good WIFI (as always in Iceland), friendly hostess, nice little shop and fuel a couple of hundred metres away, easy access, and a nice area.

Situated in Hólmavík in the West Iceland region, Beautiful house just 50 m from the sea features a patio and mountain views. It was a wonderful stay here. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Beautiful view from the windows. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Tangs is located in Ísafjörður. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.9 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring. Such a wonderful little apartment. Close to everything and very cozy.

Offering river views, Bjarkarholt Guesthouse in Bjarkarholt offers accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. We arrived ahead of our scheduled time, but our host was there, cleaning the houses, so we got our keys right away and also had a good chat with him. The system at Bjarkarholt Guesthouse is: do it yourself. So we had to make our own beds and also take off the linen and towels and stow them in a bag, when we left. It's not a big deal and you save some money. The houses have a working kitchen, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster. Wi-fi was fine too.

This self-catering accommodation is located in north-western Iceland, and features a garden and BBQ facilities. Free WiFi access is available. This suite (B) was exceptional. The view out the windows is stunning of the local mountains. The garden is beautiful and the deck such a pleasure to enjoy. The suite itself is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you could want. I loved the little kitchen. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and made my stay a joy. I would 100% stay here again. It is up a very small hill from town and a really nice walk (5 mins) into the center of town with more views along the way.
