Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

It was very clean and comfortable. It’s also located close to the city, just a 5 min drive from the nearest departmental store. We loved it so much! The best part was that we saw the northern lights from the house. 100% recommend.

Skipalaekur Farm Apartments has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Egilsstadir, 32 km from Hengifoss. Our night there Was one of the most beautiful in our live because of the location which helped us to catch autora... it was visible even just outside the apartment. By 10 minutes walk small mountains have hidden all city lights which disturbed to catch it. Well equipped place and good bakery located up to 10 minutes walk having beautiful lake on the right to get to the main road. Highly recommended in winter time or to be close to Hengifoss and Litlanesfoss.

Situated in Höfn in the South Iceland region, Miðsker 1 has a patio and lake views. The property features garden views. Everything! , right from the location, rooms , facility & very cooperative Host!! Loved the entire stay, wish we would stayed longer but we had to carry on with our trip! So couldn't. Highly recommend the stay here . It was a wonderful experience .

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. The location was beautifully decorated. Lots of space and art. There was an adorable cat that was our friend for the night. Elsa took the time to welcome us in person, show us around the facilities, and baked us fresh bread for the evening.

Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 3.9 km from Gufufoss, Túngata apartment features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a very nice, clean property on the edge of town, which is to say it is a 5 minute walk to a restaurant or to the edge of the harbor. It was new, well maintained, quiet, and private. it is sort of an add-on to another home where I think the owner lives, but we didn't see the owner, we just used a door code. Very easy. The town is quaint with incredible surroundings.
