The homestay itself with the gardens and houses are just as beautiful. Close enough to go hiking to the center of Darjeeling. It was a bit chilly in February in the room for showering, but that added to the experience in my view. Ps. Beds had electric blankets, so no cold nights.

The owner was very cordial and helpful. She was extremely vigilant about the comfort of our stay. Her communication etiquette, willingness to provide related information and care towards hosting is something that needs mentioning here. These are necessary markers for a comfortable stay.
