The place was really clean, actually, the cleanest apartment we stayed in, even comparing to hotels we stayed in later on. The air conditioning was really good and the wifi worked very well. The place is also close to the beach and not far from the main shopping area. The trip by tuk tuk takes 5 minutes and the lady called it for us, so it was really easy to get around. There were a couple of restaurants nearby with tasty Indian food.

When I book a hotel in India, cleanliness is what I care about the most. I can say Happy Buddha is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in India. And what is even better than cleanliness is the owner Roshan. He is very cool yet helpful. I really enjoyed talking to him and the vibe he created for Happy Buddha. Looking forward to my next visit and parties at the soon-to-be-finished rooftop!

El Maliyeckal Homestay ofrece terraza y se encuentra en Munnar, a 17 km de la presa Mattupetty, a 19 km del pico Anamudi y a 23 km del parque nacional Eravikulam. I loved this place so much and I wish I had more days on my trip to India to stay longer. It was all green, beautiful and quiet. I had my best sleep in India there. There is a nice shared terrace where you can talk to other guests or just chill and listen to the sound of the jungles. The family of the hosts are super friendly. You can order dinner for some extra money (the dinners were delicious! and not spicy haha, which is important for us foreigners), you can also do laundry at extra cost. Teh breakfast was also supertasty.They also give useful recommendations how to get around and what to see.
