Mas Jali even took me to the local flea market, hunting some old stuff, and we went on a walk to malioboro. The other thing I like on my stay here is I can meet other travelers from various place with various interesting stories.

This beautiful guest house is run by a most lovely man. Bambang was an attentive host, speaks excellent English, and is always willing to help out with whatever you might need. The house has various sitting areas inside and out, a koi pond, and is on a quiet lane just off a main street with shops, restaurants, etc. A huge and delicious Indonesian breakfast is provided (and is different every day!), plus there are free 24 hour snacks and drinks. Also we hired an English speaking guide and driver to take us to our next stay at Borobudur for a very reasonable price. He lives right next door.

The whole stay was amazing. This small hotel offers the relaxation one needs after a busy day touring the city. Most importantly though, Pras and his team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Even before the stay Pras was quick in responding to questions and made sure we would have a safe trip from the airport to the hotel. During our stay, Pras and his team organized a driver for our trips to the temples and Surakarta and had great suggestions on sights to see and indonesian restaurants to go to.

They go out of their way to make conversation with you and get to know you, and make sure you have everything you need. Bedhot even dropped me and another guest to downtown and gave us a nice intro to the city. I had a stomach virus during my stay and they were super helpful and offered me medicine. I also love the ambience of the place. It is well designed, quiet and peaceful.
