Located in Ruteng in the East Nusa Tenggara region, Karleta Homestay features a patio. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. This is not ordinary accommodation. It’s a truly local experience with a local family. They welcomed us with a smile and they let us feel like part of the family. Facilities are basic but there are all the essentials: WiFi working well, comfy bed, (we had a private) bathroom with running water on toilet and a (cold) shower, a tasty meal prepared by the family. They speak good English and even the daughters do! The location is a bit outside the centre of the town and on a hill, but we liked walking around cheered by locals to watch the village life going on. We would definitely go back again. Rendkívül rugalmasak, késő este érkeztem és nem volt probléma, sőt még ajándék vacsorát és tízórait is kaptam. Beautiful property located not far from Labuan bajo. Well worth having dinner there one night. Melo cafe is also close by and does nice food (but be prepared for a hard walk uphill to reach it unless you have a motorbike). Overall we had a lovely stay.

It was a great experience to stay with and talk to the whole family including their children. I could also enjoy a nice breakfast before I left. You can also do tours with Ricardo or rent a scooter.
