He took care of me since the very first moment until the very end, communication via WhatsApp, which is very convenient to me. He organized the bromo tour for me and answered me many questions I had regarding different places to visit in Java and transportation. It really worth it staying in his place 2 nights. Hot shower, air conditioning and good wifi. He knows how to treat European tourists. See you in Las Ramblas!

The room and bathroom was beautiful and gave off Javan and Bali esque vibes. When you walk in there is a gorgeous scent by some incense. The room and bathroom were spotless / very clean and very comfortable. Hot shower and very comfortable bed with soft sheets. Loved the decor of the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom also had air con if you wanted to use it. There is also a cute living/lounge area and a small kitchen which was great and you could help yourself to java coffee and tea! Adara home stay made you feel like you were home. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable place. After a day out exploring we looked forward to coming back and chilling out at the property. After the second day our room was cleaned and our clothes were folded with great care! It was so nice! We enjoyed our stay so much we would definitely come back and stay again. The breakfast served by Kanung (very friendly and helpful staff member) was delicious- eggs / Toast / plenty of fresh fruit! We looked forward to breakfast each morning. Tommy the host is extremely helpful and welcoming. The best host! He helped us with our train tickets, picked us up from Banyuwangi station, took us to have food, arranged our Mount Ijen trip - arranging a driver and a guide for us. Adara Homestay has an authentic, welcoming, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere , especially as it has been beautifully designed and built by Tommy the host. Highly recommend staying here :) even if it’s to see Mount Ijen (which is incredible) or to stay a few nights before heading over to Bali. We give Adara Homestay 10/10!

It was such a welcoming and peaceful place, set in an incredible part of the country. Communicating with the hosts was very easy and they were very flexible to helping with changing requirements. Great surfboard selection too. Highly recommend.

This was honestly such a refreshing stay. The accomodation is incredibly curated. The rooms were clean, comfortable and private. We enjoyed the home cooked meals and fresh fruit made by the amazing staff! Who were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The homestay is right next to the beach, for which we were blessed with a few great days of weather. Overall, our stay was extremely relaxing and pleasant. And we’d recommend anyone to give this spot a chance! Once again, thank you to all the staff that made for such a beautiful time!

The family was very nice. Always taking care of me like i was part of the family. It was a very wonderful experience. They organise tour to kawa ijen also. Very Nice and very helpful. I recomend.

This was one of our favourite places to stay during our trip. The chilling area on the first floor is so nice! It has a real cozy atmosphere. The double rooms are wonderful, it feels like glamping. We had to fight for the upper room going up with the ladder ;-) There are two bathrooms, this is enough for the number of rooms. They were clean and the view is great when you are taking your ‘outside’ shower! The owner is vey friendly and organised our trip for mount Ijen and the transfer to the harbour. No hassle… Breakfast was simple but good quality. Staying in a real bamboo house was very special to us. We would definitely have loved to stay more nights if it would have been available!

Beautiful location, very quiet despite its close proximity to the train station (so convenient!). The owner had breakfast ready when we got back from our Ijen hike. Very adorable kitty on the property that you can tell is well taken care of. Great value.

Ubytovanie Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen sa nachádza v destinácii Banyuwangi 31 km od miesta Watu Dodol. Everything was fantastic! Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.
