The living area is comfortable too and the kitchen area is great for working or making quick food/coffee. But most importantly, the host (Tommy) goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. He even helped me arrange for train ticket to my next location, gave me guidance on trip planning etc.

Lovely grounds with small bungalows and lots of plants/trees all over. A rustic chic feeling. Cleanliness is super. The ladies ensure that the kitchen and the premises are sparkling clean. Shared kitchen is well equipped. The manager Tina is awesome. she speaks English! She helped organize transport from Solo. airport to Harry's and then to Jogja. I literally didn't have to worry about that part at all. Unfortunately for me, I fell ill with a viral infection soon upon arrival. Tina went out of her way to help me heal. Made a herbal drink that kickstarted my recovery. And was always available for any help I needed. I felt well taken care of and at home away from home. Its a perfect place to hang loose for a few days, just a stone's throw from the ocean. Scooters are available for rent to go explore the region.

Set 400 metres from Rajegwesi Beach, Java Turtle Lodge Meru Betiri offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Our stay was one of the highlights of our 2-months Indonesia trip. Java Turtle Lodge is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay at where they look after you and want you to have the best experience. Our villa was clean & comfy, showers were hot, food was delicious and the garden is actually my dream garden with a fish pond and hammocks. We had an amazing time on our Sukamade turtle trip. In all honesty, this was the most expensive trip we paid for on our trip, but it was so worth it. First we visited Green Bay for a little hike & swim, then we had a fun 2 hours jeep ride, deep in nature, to Sukamade beach. Later, we went to the beach to spot turtles who might come to lay their eggs. We were not lucky to see one in action, but we followed her way back into the ocean. We spent the night at the national park rangers’ post, which was a minimal room but had everything we needed. And the best thing… we released baby turtles in the morning. Everyone included in this trip was genuine and treated animals fairly. A much recommended stay and trip!

(YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT IF YOU GET THE SHARK ROOM!!! 7 wonders of the world I’m not even kidding) toilet : flushes well, bidet is so strong, and showers work good living space: a patio for the smokers, a good space for dining in (if you plan to order GrabFood), a nice vibe inside the house to read books/etc if you don’t feel like going out and just chill host: MY FAVOURITE PART OF IT ALL THEY MAKE ME FEEL SO MUCH AT HOME

Conveniently located in Licin district of Licin, Bamboo & B features a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property has mountain and river views, and is 31 km from Watu Dodol. This was one of our favourite places to stay during our trip. The chilling area on the first floor is so nice! It has a real cozy atmosphere. The double rooms are wonderful, it feels like glamping. We had to fight for the upper room going up with the ladder ;-) There are two bathrooms, this is enough for the number of rooms. They were clean and the view is great when you are taking your ‘outside’ shower! The owner is vey friendly and organised our trip for mount Ijen and the transfer to the harbour. No hassle… Breakfast was simple but good quality. Staying in a real bamboo house was very special to us. We would definitely have loved to stay more nights if it would have been available!

Located 2.8 km from Boom Beach and 14 km from Watu Dodol, Banana Homestay features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. The staff is so nice, they helped me organize a trip to ijen, go to bali and I arrive late a night and I hadn't eaten so they offered me some of their dinner. The breakfast is really good. The room is confortable and really clean.
