If there is paradise on earth it is Harry´s Ocean House in Pacitan. Everything about it is beautiful. The dorm, where you basically sleep in the open, the common area, everything. It is a place where you will find chill people, can enjoy surfing with literally no people in the water (apart from the people staying at Harry´s and few locals) and not many other tourists. For me it is the spot to learn how to surf, since it is a beach break (safe), only few surfers, but still some good swell. It is perfect for relaxing and extending your stay to more than just a few days (I ended up staying a month). You can rent a surfboard and scooter for a really fair price (cheapest I have had in my travels). Tina and Gayun who run the hostel are super friendly too. I am already planning to come back at the end of my travels :)

El Java Turtle Lodge Meru Betiri se encuentra en Banyuwangi, en la región de Java Oriental, y ofrece balcón y vistas al jardín. Fabuloso. Hadi y su personal un auténtico 10. La comida 100% indonesia buenisima. El lugar es precioso y las playas cercanas un lujo. Es una zona menos turística y eso fue lo mejor. El tour a Sukamade lo contratamos con ellos y fue una gran experiencia. Sin duda, repetiriamos.

El Mocca By Classic Guest House se encuentra en Banyuwangi, a 2,7 km de la playa de Boom, y ofrece registros de entrada y salida exprés, habitaciones hipoalergénicas, salón compartido, wifi gratis y... I liked absolutely everything. This homestay is one of the cleanest I have stayed at in my two month trip to Indonesia. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the place looks new and well cared for. The wifi was working perfectly, just like the AC. The room smelled good. It is also very quiet, so I slept like a baby. I stayed in the twin room.. But most of all, the owners, Annie indah and her husband Johannes are the most caring, helpful and friendly people ever! They took good care of me since the moment I arrived by giving me all sort of advice and even helped me book the train ticket! They even invited me for a tea with freshly baked cake. And the breakfast is delicious, a full meal. Annie Indah is a great cook. I really felt at home! If you are in Banyuwangi don't miss the opportunity to stay at this place!

El INNI Homestay se encuentra en Malang, a 1,5 km de la plaza Araya y a 6 km de Taman Krida Budaya Jawa Timur, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, salón compartido y terraza. It was located in quiet area with nearly located restaurants, bakery and coffee shops. Beds were comfortable, size of the room was just right. I liked the shared kitchen - it was always clean, you can take drinks from the fridge and pay after you finish your stay. Very nice and cozy area. Host was very helful with arranging trips to Bromo and waterfalls. She also gave us local recommendations.

Beautiful location, very quiet despite its close proximity to the train station (so convenient!). The owner had breakfast ready when we got back from our Ijen hike. Very adorable kitty on the property that you can tell is well taken care of. Great value.

Beautiful grounds and great hospitality from Ericka ,Mark and the team. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone was so helpful. Food was also excellent, thank you Rico.
