The Old Palace Lodge sits in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral. It blends traditional features with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs. Beautiful building and views. Super friendly staff that gave us a warm welcome. Room was clean and felt surprisingly spacious. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the staff decorated the bed with rose petals and wrote is a card, which we really appreciated! Complimentary warm (vegan) croissants got delivered to us in the morning

We enjoyed a relaxing time in the hot tub and the new shower was great.. The ponies are adorable and the host Teresa was extremely helpful and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. She also made us a lovely evening meal and breakfast . We would certainly return if in the area.
