The property has a big yard with trees and shade (and a swimming pool!). The mornings were lovely to sit outside and hear the cicadas warming up for the day.

The village is charming, the guest house is so cute, and there were fun added bonuses including a beautiful backyard area and indoor pool room (swimming pool and billiards). We had a wonderful time and will definitely return when going back in this beautiful region of France.

Only 9 rooms, in a character filled original building. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We will be back.

The location was close to gorgeous vineyards, outdoor shopping, and a city in France voted “the most beautiful in the world.”. The hosts were wonderful and their hospitality is something that you will not experience at other hotels. They had fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. The rooms have balconies with incredible views, reliable wifi and come with breakfast every morning. If we return to the area we will definitely stay at La Chaumiere again.
