Out of my 4 accommodations in egypt, this one had hands down the best showers, wifi, and beds. The staff is super nice and forthcoming, even prepared a welcome drink when I arrived. Everything is fairly new and really clean. Location is only a few minutes from the private ferry port which was super practical for arrival and departure. Great breakfast too.

The Bedouin Lodge offers a fantastic opportunity to relax, sleep, and dine in a rustic, authentic setting. The rooms are private, clean, and well-sized, with private bathrooms that are fully equipped. The breakfast features very tasty, fresh food, and they can accommodate vegetarians upon request. The hangout areas are great; my wife and I enjoyed every sunset there. Its proximity to all the sites on the west bank is a major plus, and they can offer very competitive prices for experiences like hot air balloon rides. We will definitely return!

In February we stayed here for 5 days in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. And in a 10 mins walk there is this Restaurant with ferry ride name 'Aladdin guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere and amazing chicken and fish (grilled) in a combo of rice and chapati. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and there are lots of tuktuks on the road in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Queens temples and tombs on the West Bank. Our driver (Mr. Hassan) was having ample of knowledge for the site seeing. Our balloon ride early in the sunrise, 5 o'clock something cannot be missed!!! Go for it, its amazing. We highly recommend Blue Nile House for it is the perfect place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. Thank you Sayed, Hassan and the entire Team for these wonderful hospitality. We definitely recommend it to everyone. *The place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. *They offer food from a close by restaurant and it is delicious. *The pool is well keep and it is great for relaxing. *The location is the perfect middle point to everything (Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens is 10-15 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes walk you get to the harbor where you can cross by boat directly to Luxor temple or Karnak Temple). We both felt extremely welcome. Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ibrahim were amazing hosts, they speak good English and are very kind. Casa Loko can also arrange different tours for you.

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. We arranged to hire bicycles to explore the West Bank and they were also happy to take us to and from the ferry.

It's about 15 minutes outside the city, but the compound is situated right beside a nice market ( AL Rayah Market) and it has everything you would need to fix up a quick meal if need be. Our host was able to set us up on a hot air balloon ride and it was one of the most amazing experiences for our family here in Egypt. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We would encourage anyone to book the Sphinx Apartment for a nice little get away while in Luxor.

Highly recommend that you stay at moonlight. You will not be disappointed. The hosts went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Unfortunately had food poisoning when I arrived and they took me to see a doctor without even asking. Lovely people who care about the quality of the stay. The apartments are huge and clean with great views from the patio. The location is perfect in my opinion. Far from the hustle and bustle of east Luxor. I’ve received many genuine smiles from the locals in the area and was invited to eat with people more than once. Do yourself a favour and stay at the moonlight for a peaceful and authentic experience in Luxor.
