Very peaceful area with plenty of common areas to sit. The owners are nice and very knowledgeable on all things nature related. Free hot water readily available. The BnB is close to the main square of Machachi. Nice kitchen in the cabin.

Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcan is set in a traditional Andean house with adobe walls and thatched roofs. There is a restaurant, and breakfast is included. Incredible property, amazing staff (Felipe & Paula were especially wonderful and helpful), great food and plenty to keep busy. The entire property is beautifully designed and maintained and has a calming and peaceful vibe.

From here I went to climb the Cotopaxi volcano, an amazing experience I recommend to all. In the afternoon we enjoyed doing a BBQ. The place has all commodities needed.

Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

Nastanitev Villa Victoria je 38 km od znamenitosti Gledališče Bolivar in nudi vrt, teraso ter skupno kuhinjo. WiFi in zasebno parkirišče sta v nastanitvi Villa Victoria na voljo brez doplačila. Large, new, modern, well-appointed room set in a small garden behind a house (so it's quiet). Cleaned daily if you so wish. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is strong and shower is hot (two essentials for me!). The kitchen (containing the breakfast area) at the back of the garden is free to use, as is the washing machine in the laundry room. Bonus! Tania and her husband are a treasure trove of information regarding climbing the volcanoes in the area. In fact, when I mentioned Ruminahui, they (as keen hikers themselves) offered to take me to the start of the southern route. We climbed together for a while, after which they directed me to the summit. I got lost coming back (my fault!), but they waited more than two hours for me. Later, when I offered to pay, they said, 'It is a courtesy of the guesthouse.' A truly lovely couple. My experience in Machachi couldn't have been better thanks to them. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador. And I loved the ancient German Shepherd that greets you at the gate!

Nastanitev Ruta de los volcanes je od znamenitosti Gledališče Bolivar oddaljena 49 km in nudi restavracijo, vrt, teraso ter bar. The accommodation was beautiful. It's near the Cotopaxi National Park and area is very nice. Host Darwin was very kind and he was cooking very well. The restaurant has very good atmosphere with the fireplace. The best bonus was we met with great Ecuadorian people who were also accommodated here :). We really recommend this accommodation if you want to visit Cotopaxi volcan.

Right in the center; very clean, they give you towels, comfy beds, and the best is the staff, Victor is so helpful explaining the hikes, really worth every piece of advice.
