Aracely, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, yoy really feel very welcome. She helped us with suggestions for hikes and for the transportation to get there. One night we had dinner with her, it was delicious.

Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcan is set in a traditional Andean house with adobe walls and thatched roofs. There is a restaurant, and breakfast is included. Hacienda El Porvenir is absolutelly amazing accomodation to stay next to Cotopaxi national park. We loved the premises as it is hidden in the countryside and thanks to its unique and well protected architecture you trully feel like in a different world. World of peace, quietness where you can enjoy the nature and magnificent Cotopaxi volcano. The room was super comfortable, the food was delicious and also their spa is incredible. All the staff is so kind and willing to help you. We also booked a hiking trip and a horseriding trip with them and it was epic.

It is a wonderful place located among volcanoes. From here I went to climb the Cotopaxi volcano, an amazing experience I recommend to all. In the afternoon we enjoyed doing a BBQ. The place has all commodities needed.

Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

Ubytovanie Villa Victoria sa nachádza 38 km od miesta Divadlo Bolívar. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, terasu a spoločnú kuchyňu. Large, new, modern, well-appointed room set in a small garden behind a house (so it's quiet). Cleaned daily if you so wish. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is strong and shower is hot (two essentials for me!). The kitchen (containing the breakfast area) at the back of the garden is free to use, as is the washing machine in the laundry room. Bonus! Tania and her husband are a treasure trove of information regarding climbing the volcanoes in the area. In fact, when I mentioned Ruminahui, they (as keen hikers themselves) offered to take me to the start of the southern route. We climbed together for a while, after which they directed me to the summit. I got lost coming back (my fault!), but they waited more than two hours for me. Later, when I offered to pay, they said, 'It is a courtesy of the guesthouse.' A truly lovely couple. My experience in Machachi couldn't have been better thanks to them. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador. And I loved the ancient German Shepherd that greets you at the gate!

Ubytovanie La Posada Del Viajero sa nachádza v destinácii Latacunga. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii bezplatné Wi-Fi a službu concierge. The location is great as it is walking distance from the bus terminal and the market! The owner has been extremely helpful giving me tips and advice for my day hikes to Quilotoa and Cotopaxi. I recommend as a stop if you plan those hikes, you will also meet people to team up with if you are looking for buddies :).

Probably the best hot shower and kitchen of any place I have stayed at. the stove is electric, so you don't need a match or lighter. Not normal, but I ended up getting my own cozy double for $5-$6 because I was traveling solo. Great advice for Quilotoa (which you can easily do on your own) and competitively priced tour of Cotopaxi. I actually stayed twice; before and after Quilotoa.
