The owners are nice and very knowledgeable on all things nature related. Free hot water readily available. The BnB is close to the main square of Machachi. Nice kitchen in the cabin.

Hacienda El Porvenir is absolutelly amazing accomodation to stay next to Cotopaxi national park. We loved the premises as it is hidden in the countryside and thanks to its unique and well protected architecture you trully feel like in a different world. World of peace, quietness where you can enjoy the nature and magnificent Cotopaxi volcano. The room was super comfortable, the food was delicious and also their spa is incredible. All the staff is so kind and willing to help you. We also booked a hiking trip and a horseriding trip with them and it was epic.

It is a wonderful place located among volcanoes. From here I went to climb the Cotopaxi volcano, an amazing experience I recommend to all. In the afternoon we enjoyed doing a BBQ. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

The owner Tania is very helpful and kind. She was flexible to prepare our breakfast quite early in the morning. Breakfast was great. There is a small garden where it is possible to park the car. The room is big, clean.

The accommodation was beautiful. It's near the Cotopaxi National Park and area is very nice. Host Darwin was very kind and he was cooking very well. The restaurant has very good atmosphere with the fireplace. The best bonus was we met with great Ecuadorian people who were also accommodated here :). We really recommend this accommodation if you want to visit Cotopaxi volcan.

Not normal, but I ended up getting my own cozy double for $5-$6 because I was traveling solo. Great advice for Quilotoa (which you can easily do on your own) and competitively priced tour of Cotopaxi. I actually stayed twice; before and after Quilotoa.
