The location was absolutely fantastic, in the middle of a stunning valley. Chilling on the sunbeds on the terrace was amazing, especially at night with the lights off. Only sounds of nature and stars. The rooms were simple but so clean and with everything you need, the staff was so sweet and caring, but never invasive. I had an incredible stay. It was hard to leave that place.

Offering garden views, Pousada Rural Simpatia in Caculi provides accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Really amazing experience, one of the best places in Cabo Verde. The ladies in the Women association that manages the BnB are really friendly, they received me with open heart. They even made cake for my birthday and celebrated together. Really authentic experience, they will stay in my heart. Eneida even took us at a local event in the village. The views are stunning from the window and terrace, the rooms are big, the food delicious. You can walk 10min, 30min or 1-2h or more and still have great views. Easy to take colectivo (aluguer) to go to the most important hikes from the island. The breakfast is very delicious and big so some days I didn't need lunch. They can arrange colectivo (aluguer) to pick you up from the ferry for only 5 euros.

Located in Paul, Kasa d'Vizin offers accommodation with seating area. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. I had a great time at Kasa d'Vizin. The hotel is greatly located, surrounded by beautiful nature and a terrasse that gives you the feeling that you are in the middle of it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also the host was very helpful, kind and gave it a personal touch. The food was amazing, for a very fair price I got a three meal course that tasted awesome. Thank you!

Situated in Pombas in the Santo Antao region, Luz d'Sol - Residencial Familiar has a balcony. With sea views, this accommodation features a terrace. Very nice, family owned, place to stay. Good location for the main trails (cova and xoxo). Shops and restaurant are very close. New building, comfortable room. You wake up early with the light and noise, but this is normal everywhere in the island and is good to start your walk on time ;) Breakfast is great, every morning a different option. Great to start the day. João is a very friendly host, who will help you arrange and plan everything you need, we will be back!

Kate is a great host: speaks all languages possible (😀), has all the guests dinner together and has a thorough knowledge of the entire island, giving great tips for hikes and restaurants! Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!
