Villa Maris is just a paradise in Maio: great house in a very nice residence area, amazing views topped up with the unique infinity pool…but the best is definitively the treatment and the staff! We felt like home We were sent a taxi to the ferry to bring us to the house and welcomed by Alicia who was in charged of making our stay easy and relaxing: she help us with renting a car, booking massages and with any question we had, specially the last day when our boat was delayed by 12 hours and she took care of us in addition to let us stay in the appartment free of charge and always with a smile :) Loved our stay!

El Cosy & Relax Yellow House está situado a menos de 1 km de la Praia de Ponta Preta y a 17 minutos a pie de la playa de Biche Rocha. 5 minutos a pie de la playa! Chalet acogedor con una anfitriona perfecta. La casa tiene todas las comodidades deseables para disfrutar del paraiso de Maio. Contratamos el servicio de recogida en el puerto. Al llegar nuestro conductor Manuel nos recogió y nos informó de como movernos por la isla. Nos ayudó a conseguir todo lo que necesitabamos para una estancia perfecta.

El A.M.A Appartament se encuentra en Calheta Do Maio, en la región de Maio, y ofrece una terraza. El departamento dispone de balcón con vistas al jardín, 1 dormitorio y cocina totalmente equipada. The appartement was newly renovated and super-equiped; there was everything from can-oppener to washing machine ... everything was spotlessly clean. It is roomy, light, and we enjoyed the terrace at the front with seaview. Shops are within walking distance and you are between two beautifull beaches. But the best were our hosts: generous, helpful, humorous and a delight to stay with.

La Casa Djarmai se encuentra en Vila do Maio y ofrece jardín, terraza, wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. Los huéspedes tienen a su disposición un patio privado. This is a spectacular apartment. Visually just stunning. Clean, well located. The hosts were very responsive.

El A Caminhada se encuentra en Morro y ofrece vistas a la pileta, bicicletas de uso gratuito, pileta al aire libre, bar, jardín y zona de parrilla. Hay wifi gratis. Bernard was extremely helpful and friendly.

El Barracudamaio se encuentra en Morro y ofrece vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. kristoph and Mona are a very hospitable and warm couple ( French/Norwegian) , you feel immediately at home with them. They pick you up from the boat and serve excellent meals, homemade bread and marmelade and cheese for breakfast, fresh fish dinners. They have created their own piece of heaven on a hectare of walled land. There are only two apartments, very cosy and well equipped. the dogs Jazzy and Irma are part of the family and make you feel straight at home as well. The beautiful beach is at walking distance very nearby, as is the lovely laid back village of Moro. Just walk to the beautiful centuries old baobab tree and you will find the village. From Villa maio/Porto ingles you can walk back to your apartment along the salt pans, a lovely one and a half hour walk.

We spent unfortunately just three wonderful days in Torre Sabina, to remember as one of the most lovely and charming experiences of our lives, and as a promise to come back soon. In Torre Sabina you can breath nature, peace, energy and history, as they have managed to create a beautiful place that fits in the perfect island of Maio, with the inspiration of a true chapel and watch tower. Not only the place can't be better, near to a paradise beach in a quiet and charming town with great people, culture and nature, but also Sabina and Elida made our stay absolutely unforgettable. We felt as if we were at home, Sabina is an inspiring and strong woman worth knowing, and we can be lucky that Elida, always smily and kind, did not accept an offer of the most prestigious restaurants and chefs in the world, because the meals she cooks are absolutely incredible! And let's not forget Emma -the so cute dog-, cats, the duck and the donkeys that keep visiting the place as Sabina gives them water in the dry summers. For now, it is just a memory that could have been a dream, but we hope to go back soon and make it real again! Maio and Torre Sabina charmed our hearts. Thank you for everything!
