The tropical garden at the bed and breakfast is delightful. We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

The accommodations were exceptionally nice, but the best part of the visit was the breakfast in the mornings. I would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay.

The views were just amazing. We woke up the first morning and was not able to see the lake at all. But by the second morning, we could see the lake, mountain ranges, windmills in the distance, it was beautiful. The house was cute and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Having the pool there during the hot days was awesome. The pool was the perfect place to cool off.

Lakeview Arenal 1 Bed Suite, Communal Pool & Gym, er staðsett í Tronadora og í aðeins 43 km fjarlægð frá Sky Adventures Monteverde-ævintýrunum. We had such a great stay, we even extended it for one more day. It‘s a great property to stay in, very quiet with just nature around. The club house offers a lot of on top activities, such as table tennis, billiards, on some mornings you can even find a breakfast service. You can also book a massage (I recommend). The pool is absolutely fantastic! The hosts made us feel very welcome. They furnished the house with very much love and with best quality equipment (we have not experienced anywhere else in Costa Rica). Thank you Chris and Maricela, it was a pleasure to meet you and stay at your place!

Vulkan Arenal Amazing View Lodge 4 WD er staðsett í El Castillo de la Fortuna á Alajuela-svæðinu og Arenal Eco-dýragarðurinn er skammt frá. We loved almost everything about this place. We were looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with amazing views. And we couldn’t have found anywhere better on all three counts. Idyllic.

Pie in the Sky 3 Amazing Luxury Home with Lake and Volcano view er sumarhús í El Fosforo á Alajuela-svæðinu og er 13 km frá Fortuna. A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

Þetta sumarhús er staðsett í El Fosforo á Alajuela-svæðinu, 13 km frá Fortuna. Gestir geta nýtt sér verönd. Eldhúsið er með örbylgjuofn, brauðrist og ísskáp. The view is amazing. We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.

Gingerbread Restaurant & Hotel státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, verönd og bar, í um 21 km fjarlægð frá Venado-hellunum. The breakfast was lovely and different each morning. It was so fresh with plenty of fruit and lovely coconut bread. It was lovely to have breakfast and watch the birds enjoying the fruit that is put out for them each morning. We also had dinner each evening and the menu was so varied and very international. Eyal is a fantastic host, he is a big character and is so welcoming to all guests. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate in each evening as we did not want to go out and miss his wonderful food. Truly outstanding flavours and quality. Such a beautiful setting. Our room was the jungle room and we loved the jungle theme decoration. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a really good balcony overlooking the lake.

Villas Paradise er staðsett í El Castillo de La Fortuna, 26 km frá La Fortuna-fossinum, og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. It was such a delight to wake up every morning to a view of the lake and Mt. Arenal! The room was perfectly situated and the view was spectacular. We had breakfast included every morning and it was alway delicious and the food was so fresh...huge portions and coffee refills included. We also ate dinner there every night as it was easy and we didn't have to drive anywhere. The menu had enough variety that we were very satisfied with our choices of evening meals. The soup Azteca and Caprese salad were both delicious! The birdwatching from the balcony of our room was wonderful...we saw several new species including a reoccurring nightjar that came every night to the road next to us. Also saw lots of hummingbirds and other species in the shrubs and trees around the property. It was a wonderful place to get away and close to the volcano park and Mistico as well as several hot springs.
