Staying at Suwa Villa Arenal was a highlight of our trip and our favorite accommodation in Costa Rica. Hands down, it had some of the most thoughtful design and architecture we came across, reflecting the owner's expertise as an architect. You can tell it was built with care. For the price, it’s really good value. It felt like we got a lot for what we paid. The owners were friendly and down-to-earth, and the staff had the same genuine vibe. Everyone was keen to help without it ever feeling overbearing. Communication-wise, they were on the ball. Quick to respond and clear in their answers. Plus, they had some handy tips on activities and pointed us to some neat local spots to eat and shop. All in all, Suwa Villa Arenal felt like a great find. It’s a place that combines smart design with a real personal touch. Would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting La Fortuna.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Bungalow Batsù is set in Fortuna. It was so nice and cosy , the host family were very helpful. Like a small home from home.

Lovely interior of the tent. Tasty breakfast. Fantastic staff, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating - helping to arrange activities, transport, food delivery and also one extra night for us because we didn't want to leave! Pura Vida.

Set within 22 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 700 metres of Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park in Fortuna, Wellness Park CR features accommodation with seating area. It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

Mevak Apartments Suites is set in Fortuna, 6.8 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, 5.9 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, as well as 21 km from Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. Very good communication from the host. We always got a quick response & the service was very good.

Located within 30 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 32 km of Kalambu Hot Springs in Fortuna, Birds & Breakfast Costa Rica provides accommodation with seating area. Everything was perfect. Marci and Fabio are the best hosts ever. The local breakfast was everyday so good! We loved the nighttour, the view from the house in the beautiful garden. The birdwatching. Well we loved our stay at Birds & breakfast and hope to come back!

The breakfast is great; very tasty. The accommodations are exactly as described; well appointed camping style.
