The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and had everything we needed. It was modern and clean, but at the same time felt very homely and comfortable. Whilst we had almost no interaction with the host, the instructions given on arrival were very clear and it was nice to be left to our own devices. The location (on a farm) was good too, being only a shorty 2.5km walk to town.

El Ofenhaus, un antiguo horno de pan construido en 1750, se ubica junto a la casa de campo del propietario, a 1 km del centro de Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Ubicación perfecta en un pueblo encantador. Alojamiento con encanto, familiar y muy cómodo. Limpieza y atención de los dueños. Cómodo de aparcar en la puerta, aunque fuera una zona de parking por horas de 19:00 a 8:00 era libre. El pueblo es muy bonito y tiene muy cerca todo tipo de comodidades cómo supermercados, panadería... etc.

Fresh towels and clean dishes/cutlery offered every day. Free parking for our car available in front of the yard. The host was extremely accommodating and flexible to our needs. We had a fantastic time visiting around places like Bern, Freiburg, Lausanne.

Apartment is well equipped, modern and very comfortable. The host is very nice and helpful and the restaurant below the apartment has really nice food and share the views. We were able to lock up our bikes in the workshop which is important for us, the cycling there is top class.
