Set 38 km from Bärengraben, 39 km from Bern Clock Tower and 39 km from Bern railway station, Joline private guest apartment feel like home features accommodation located in Nidau. Absolutely Everything!!! Perfect location, value for money, exceptionally clean, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The highlight of this stay was meeting the very welcoming Dominique. Such a lovely lady who went above and beyond to provide us we a fabulous stay.

Duplex Allegro is set in La Neuveville, 36 km from International Watch and Clock Museum, 40 km from Forum Fribourg, and 49 km from Bern railway station. The attention to detail, artistry, originality, and warmth with which the apartment is laid out, furnished, and decorated. A beautiful space from top to bottom. A family of 3/4 could stay here comfortably. 2 minutes’ walk from La Neuveville train station which takes you to the beautiful city of Neuchâtel in 20 minutes in one direction and Bienne in the other direction. La Neuveville itself is a lovely historic town with much to explore and enjoy: prime cafes and restaurants, architecture, nature hikes, and scenic boat rides. A very peaceful apartment building where all neighbours are considerate of one another, value quality of life, and live quietly. This alone gets a 20/10 from me! I was able to relax during the day and sleep undisturbed through the night. (Other Highly Sensitive People know how valuable this is.) Everything you need to feel at home, cared for, and relaxed is made available: varied and comfortable seating in the living and dining room areas; a well equipped kitchen (including cooking essentials like condiments, pasta, oil). Coffee lovers, you’ll be happy here. I, a bio herbal tea drinker, was thoroughly delighted to find a bio herbal tea selection waiting for me. There’s a washer and drier in the bathroom. An iron and board are also provided. For medium to long stays, a flat clean can be arranged for a fee. In addition, cleaning supplies are available to those guests who wish to clean as they go alone. Also, ample fresh sheets, bath towels, and kitchen napkins are made available. My one recommendation for the kitchen would be the provision of a kitchen rack for hand washed dishes and crockery. There were two possibilities for bedtime time: the main bedroom on the top floor or the single bed situated in the main living area.

Located in Nidau in the Canton of Bern region, Joline private guest apartment downtown Nidau features a balcony. We had a wonderful stay in Nidau. Dominique is a kind and cheerful host. She picked us up at the train station and gave us a little tour around the area, showing us nice restaurants, the supermarket, etc. The apartment itself is really beautiful and very cosy. Sehr gemütlich! The kitchen is fully equipped. However, one should keep in mind that it is a very old house, so of course there are a lot of stairs.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Chez Dodo 2534 Orvin Le Foncet is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Evilard, 43 km from International Watch and Clock Museum. If you are looking for a retreat from the city, but close to amenities, then this is your place. The hosts are warm a welcoming, the room spacious and comfortable, and newly built into the (huge) old carriage house attached to the main home, the views spectacular and reviving. Located on a working farm, you are removed rom the noise of the hustle and bustle and can retreat into the serenity of a traditional Swiss chalet on a large plot of land surrounded by the rolling Alpine hills. For those looking to walk to restaurants and the lake nearby, be warned that you will need to drive, but it is a short 15 minute drive at most, and the main road to the chalet easily connects to the highway into town. With a small fridge in the large room, you can bring something in, or take advantage of the breakfast offered in the morning. Happily, I was able to bring my furry friends without extra charge, and they, too, enjoyed their stay! All in all a wonderful night. I only wish I had had more time. :)
