We arrived at dusk in a tired and wet state after a sorry experience at a wildlife park on a very rainy day.Dear Leafy gave us such a welcome it helped revive our spirits, just what we needed. Lana showed us around the stunning hotel and our amazing room with spectacular view. We were really looked after. We were able to order a pizza and purchase a bottle of wine. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff were friendly and the service exceptional.

Where do I even begin to summarize the most magical stay at de View? Dom and Hans were the perfect hosts - so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed getting to know them during our stay! They were so very helpful with recommendations of activities in and around knysna as well as places to dine for the evening. The place was immaculate - they have thought of every detail. From catered breakfasts on the patio in the morning with the most amazing view, to thoughtful touches in our room (champagne for our honeymoon!) Dom and Hans went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. Do not miss staying here when you are in knysna - a short drive to all the best places in town - most importantly - amazing sunsets and the feeling of being in a place surrounded with so much beauty, thoughtfulness and love. We loved de View!

EVERYTHING!! My hosts were the BEST. Quick response to my late check in, even waited for me and still showed us around. So so friendly. The BnB itself is in a beautiful, tranquil location close to everything at the same time. The rooms are squuuuicky CLEAN and we had the BEST sleep in their firm mattresses (we actually want to get the brand of bed they have that's how comfy it is) We were treated to a beautiful breakfast with a fruit, homemade yogurt and muesli. Followed by a choice of breakfast so delicious, homely and warmly served. We left so inspired by our hosts' hospitality and the friendly staff. Definitely coming back here

An absolute luxury was that could use the pool and in times off load shedding the WiFi kept working which is a big plus during night the long blackouts! Very nice and comfortable apartment. All, what you need, is present there! The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner explained very well how to get in (the entrance to the territory, the keys etc) but we have not seen her. Good beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms, very nice terrace! The place is close to Thesen Island. The place gives you a very safe feeling. Free tee/coffee. There was also oil, salt/pepper, sugar. Also "special" lamps in case there is no electricity - very useful! Good WiFi
