We didn't understand how the rating of Dawn Homestay could be so high but now that we've experienced it we totally understand! The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

Very helpful and friendly family run Homestay. They arranged transport to and from Dong Hoi in a nice vehicle. Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

Everything was so clean and comfortable. But the best bit was the homely vibe. The owner and her daughter were so hospitable and friendly, always greeted with smiles. Great location too, right on the river in the beautiful Phong Nha! They have bicycles you can borrow to go into town (very old and need some maintenance but they do the job!) They also offer a simple but nice breakfast and a laundry service which was very cheap. Cannot reccomend this place enough and will return here when I come back to phong Nha!

It was really nice getaway while staying at An An Home stay. The owner is super friendly and guests were also welcoming. We had family dinner at the last day and it was great experience to try local food with other guest members. Cave group tour was also really interesting to try. Bus to the next destination was also arranged by the hotel so it was really convenient to customize our trip with the preference without any language barrier. Free bicycle was really helpful when dining out for or moving around. Thank you for your kindness! I would like to visit the place again.
