The team treated us like family, even making us home woven scarves on our departure. The retreat is so so beautiful and peaceful, we wish we had stayed longer but can’t wait to go back some day! And even though we went during off season it was still stunning here (next time we’ll be back for warmer weather to utilize the outdoor pools). One of the highlights of our trip was biking around with Ung and seeing the village and the beautiful landscapes of the area (HIGHLY recommend)

The family are very genuine and relaxed hosts who make you feel at ease and their home is situated in a lovely village with a school and small textile market close by. They organized a local guide, Thu, and he was great to go hiking with. They will organize anything for you, nothing is a problem. Comfortable and central in the Lau village. Great spot would come back to stay anytime. Free bikes, and they also have motorbikes for hire. They organized the bus for me as well.

They greeted us with the tea, rented a motorbike and otherwise went beyond to help us feel comfortable. It is situated in Lac village and it gets very nicely vibrant in the evening there. The room is clean, very pretty and smelled like lemongrass when we arrived. Mr. Thai helped us with the transport to Ninh Binh and got us to the bus on his motorbike.
