We really enjoyed our stay at Gia Bao Homestay! The Hosts were very caring and lovely. The garden was a perfect place for relaxing and having a beer in the evening. The house is located in the center of Cao Bang but still quiet and peaceful. Also they have a very cute cat and dog. If I ever come back to Cao Bang I would always come back to Gia Bao Homestay! 💚

The property was a great little location. The rooms were high quality and the owners were amazing. They rent out the best motorcycles in town and have all of the information you need to plan your stay for a few day. they also had a delicious breakfast. I would have loved to stay another night.

I liked everything here. Central location just near bus stop to Ban Gioc. The hotel is brand new and the building is great. I stayed in dorm and it was perfect — very spacious, modern, with cool design and nice terrace. One of the best dorms in my whole travel life. They provide water, towels and slippers. Shower was so clean and comfortable. They make cleaning everyday and even change towels. Bed is very convenient and the idea with box behind your head is so nice. Hotel has elevator. On the 6th floor there’s some open space and on the 1st floor there’s boiler and cooler that you can use. The hosts are very kind and caring people who are always ready to help. I was lucky and had a bonus here — all 3 days I’ve been alone in 8 beds dorm. I felt like in very good hotel. Thank you so much! Must stay place in Cao Bang <3

Everything smell so fresh (blankets, towel, pillow...) And the family is so lovely! Also they made the best dinner that I had in Vietnam, simple but so good. The place is literally 3 min away from the waterfall so you can take a walk there. You will see small villages with ethnic people doing their life there. If my schedule would be less tight, I would have been there for 3/4 days more. But I will come back for sure!

They are all welcoming and kind, she talked so openly about her culture and her village. It was an honour to be there. The food was beyond amazing. So fresh, tasty and well cooked. Everyone was more then satisfied. A true homely feel The bedrooms were intrinsic and not for those who want hotel bedframe treatment.. this was its charm and an experience. She even helped her the moped through the slippery village after the rain.

The guest house is huge, all made of stone and timber, with a beautiful view of the valley. Its inside a small stone village that is part of the local UNESCO area. There's a beautiful cave at like 3 mins drive from it, and the waterfalls are about 6 mins drive as well. The atmosphere at sunset is just incredible, we relaxed so much chilling on the top balcony admiring the stunning landscape. The owners are really kind and the room was clean and comfortable. Grandma picked us up from bus stop with umbrella. Wife is a good cook. Place is big and probably the best in the village, walkable to waterfall and cave. Lovely view from the veranda and they even have a bridge built which is really nice. Comfortable house to be in and hosts are very nice.
