Wonderful host Carol. Right on the beach. Shared shower and toilet etc but the host makes up for everything if this might put you off. Try this place please. This is for back packers I guess but everyone should experience a place like this. You don't often get the chance to stay in a lovingly decorated and maintained property with a host whose authenticity and honesty shines through everything. And we only stayed ONE NIGHT!! I wish we could have stayed longer but we had other plans. As we waited for the taxi to arrive to leave, she made tea for us and gave us a home made pineapple ice lolly! What more could you want!!??

The resort was exactly what we needed, a nice quiet stay with great views & well kept grounds. There are 2 pools on the property which were great to escape the heat. The beach was quiet and beautiful, and very peaceful comparing to Nungwi beaches, which can be full of tourists and vendors. Our Villa was very spacious for the 4 of us, and had great ocean front views, nice wrap around balcony and a private pool. The staff at the restaurant were all amazing, special thanks to Musafa (I hope I got that right) he made our day with his contagious smile & laugh J The food was very good, especially the beetroot tartare & octopus, we had it on multiple occasions. Would love to return and definitely stay here again, just a long way from Canada!

Staff attento e cordiale mi hanno accolto con una stupenda torta con candelina la sera del il mio compleanno 🤩. Sorpresa graditissima. Camera nuova e spaziosa con arredamento in stile. Molto pulito.

We were supposed to stay only 2 days but we decided to stay the entire week to Ramona's place. It is a little paradise!! The room is perfect, large bed very confortable, super kitchen well equiped ... The garden is also very peaceful and the beach is at 5min by walk. Michamvi is the ideal place to rest and to share with locals. Sunset is amazing !! We feel at home thanks to Ramona's hospitality.

Friendly staff ( Dora the owner, Ali at the bar, the chef,...), spacious room We ate at the restaurant twice during our stay. Very tasty fresh food and good breakfast Location 2 min from Kae Beach 10 min walk from the "dala dala" station Free filtered water tank on the restaurant terrace The hotel has a generator which provides electricity to help out shortly after frequent power cuts in the region Very quiet and calm place perfect for chilling and relaxing
