We loved staying here. You get to enjoy one of the nicest beaches in the world (just a 5 minute walk away) at an incredible value. The room was simple but very comfortable and clean. The owner was very friendly and quickly responsive when we had a problem with the toilet. She gave great local recommendations too. The on site breakfast was delicious—including fresh fruit, juice, eggs, and pastries. Would recommend my family and friends to stay here if they visit Zanzibar!

We loved our stay in Kendwa Carletto Style. The bungalow was clean and spacious with a nice patio for relaxing with a book. The staff are really helpful and added little details to make our stay extra special. It was nice to get a feel for the locality on the short walk to the beach. At low tide you can walk over and back between Kendwa and Nungwi. If the tide comes in you can take a short taxi ride or water taxi. There is a really nice Italian restaurant with delicious cocktails on Nungwi beach. Can't remember the name but it's up some wooden steps, right beside the Mama Mia ice cream parlour(not the one at Kendwa Rocks)

Mustafa è stato davvero molto gentile e disponibile. Mi ha scioccata la pulizia impeccabile, ogni 2 giorni cambiavano le lenzuola, super pulito e profumato. Davvero a 2 minuti a piedi dal mare si trova esattamente vicino l hotel Tropicana.

This was a wonderful find, and a great value. It was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and commotion of the resorts on the beach. The view from my balcony was great, and sunsets over the sea were beautiful. The second floor apartment catches the breeze and stays cool (the air conditioning was rarely needed). The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They are fluent in Italian, and also speak English. Maid service came every day, which is unusual for an apartment. It was nice to have a kitchen (shared with another room) to prepare the local fruits sold in the village. The beach (which is the nicest, or one of the nicest, in Zanzibar) is a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, and local restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Zanzibar.

This is a family run business at the south of Kendwa beach. Becca and his sisters have set up a wonderful facility. They are very close of the village so I enjoyed both the local and "tourist" perspectives.

La posizione molto vicina al mare, il ristorante è di buona qualità. Attenzione che la spiaggia è molto larga, cosa che mi piaceva, bianchissima di circa 50/100 m tra ombrellone e battigia. Staff super carino e molto simpatico. Il manager Said è simpaticissimo e siamo diventati amici durante la settimana. In tutta la Tanzania ci sono stati black out, ma l'hotel aveva un grosso generatore tale da compensare la cadute di tensione.

L'hotel ha superato tutte le aspettative con un personale cordiale ed efficiente che mi ha fatto sentire al sicuro e accolto. Le camere spaziose e pulitissime con letti comodi e vista giardino hanno assicurato un soggiorno confortevole. La pulizia e la manutenzione dell'hotel sono molto buone. Ho adorato la camera ed il bagno colorati ma soprattutto ben tenuti. Nel complesso, consiglio vivamente questo hotel e non vedo l'ora di tornare presto ❤️‍🔥
