Excellent new and modern serviced apartments. The lounge was the highlight. I don't usually use hotel lounges, but this one was a focal point of the building, where all the guests could grab drinks and snacks, especially at the popular happy hour. The location of the lounge made it popular with all the guests, unlike other hotels with a small lounge tucked away on another floor. Furthermore, it's in a large and historic building, so there's always a quiet corner that one could work in. The room furnishings were high quality and the staff very hospitable, everything was always kept clean and tidy. The location was great, and with the hotel bikes one could easily cycle along the river to MBS and other places, well away from traffic.

Very clean room and great location - 1 min walk to Chinatown station. Also the instruction from the hotel was very clear from the moment when I booked. It was my first time to check in hotels online but since I was in the group chat of their concierge, I could just text them if I had any questions. The room is small and packed as expected from most places in SG. I stayed in a single room with a shared kitchenette next to a double room in the apart. The shared kitchenette has a sink (+ you can drink tap water in SG), kettle, a small fridge, and a microwave. The single room has a private toilet&bathroom, a small table with a study lamp (if you like to use a computer or read a book) hair dryer, a big screen TV, and a low-noise air-con. The bathroom has all these small amenities such as a toothbrush, showering gel shampoos, etc. Plus, there is free wifi in the room. -The reception staff were so nice and friendly. -The place is newly renovated, so everything is new in the room. -Everything was so clean. -There is a daily disposal of garbage service available. Apart from this, weekly room cleaning is part of the service provided. -The location was great. (Katong-Joo Chiat is famous for its historical Peranakan culture. I would recommend taking advantage of your location to discover more.) -The place is <=1hr away from all other popular places. -You can find many shopping malls, cafes, and supermarkets like FairPrice/NTUC or ColdStorage nearby. -You can also find many places to eat your meals around (If you are Muslim and looking for Halal, there are plenty of them as well). -The East Coast Park and Beach are 10 minutes away by walking. (This is one of the best places in SG whether you prefer a picnic, a short walk, just sitting and watching the sea, running, or cycling.)
