The room is very comfortable, the common area is great to chat with other guests and the roof terrace is just amazing to see the sunset with views of the village. The breakfast is all home made with the most delicious jams, breads and juice.

Ahmed was a great host despite our late arrival due to navigation issues to get to Al Hamra. The guest house is easily accessible once you've reached Al Hamra and located in a calm neighbourhood. The room was very clean and well equiped, there's even a shared kitchen you can use.

Real Omani experience. Saif made us feel so welcome. Showed us around and took us to see the sunset. Made a fire for us in the evening. Traditional Omani breakfast was lovely. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

The dinner and breakfast were very tasty, free parking is nearby and the owner is very hospitable and friendly (and amazing pictures on the wall from her own collection). Special place to spend some time in this old sheik’s home in between ruins of the old village, palm trees and enjoy the lovely roodtop terrace with 3 lovely house dogs (Mindy, Bella and Panchito) roaming around.
