It is a beautiful real Dutch house on the canal. With cosy living room with big windows and two separate bedrooms on the 1st floor. There are sheep and some chickens around and birds singing. Wonderful quiet authentic holiday experience. House has everything you need for a family vacation. With the car we were able to reach half of Holland within 1 hour: tons of things to do. Woerden's city center is around 3 km by feet in the wonderful surroundings.

The place is a former stable that has been renovated and transformed into appartment units, each with a small terrace. You may even see some sheep grazing in front of your door, so there is a touch nature! The kitchen part is equipped with plates and pots for basic cooking and there is microvawe/grill, induction cooker, and kettles for coffee/tea. Next to the kitchen counter is a living/dining area and the bed is on a mezzanine (with Dutch-style, rather steep stairs). There is a skylight, which gives lots of light in the morning, even if all the window curtains are drawn for privacy. We didn't have a great weather, but the floor heating compensated it, which you can adjust for your liking. Overall the place is clean (our bathroom was a recently renovated one), simple but adequately furnished for the purpose of staying. It is a great value for money! It is located on the edge of Woerden on the south-east side, near the lake. Woerden is a hidden gem, with picturesque center and a generally calm place. It's only 10 mins train ride from Utrecht, and has direct train connection to Leiden and Amsterdam too, each well within an hour. Trains run every half ours, and even late night. The railway station is a bit far by foot (35 mins, albeit a pleasent walk), but we could rent bycicles from the owners, and by that its less than 10 mins. Even though we have travelled around in the region and visited many places, our most memorable moments are riding the bikes on Cattenbroekerdijk each morning and evening to/from the station. The scenery is just beautiful. Last but not least our hosts were very nice too!

The Arrival was really easy and we were warmly welcomed! The house is big and the garden(s) and the surrounding are wonderful. Nice and cozy livingroom, also really comfortable beds. Dirk Jan was always available if we had anything and we will definitely come back. It is a really short way to Kastel de Haar, especially when you drive by car. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Atmosfera jak w domu. Dookoła natura ukazująca prawdziwą wieś w Holandii z pięknymi urokliwymi domkami , kanałami itp. Śniadanka pyszne. Bardzo dobry punkt jako baza wypadowa. Bardzo sympatycznie i przyjemnie.

The room was in perfect state and very well equipped with all you need. Breakfast was very good for Dutch standards and can be taken in the room while enjoying the view.

Great location! The farm is beautiful! The hut very clean and well equipped. Anja the owner is very nice and gave solution to everything we needed. They produced and sell the best cheeses we tasted in Holland.
