Don't forget to explore the abandoned village on the other side of the palm grove, which is eerie and beautiful in equal measure.

Zachariah (hope I’m spelling his name correctly) was an excellent host and gave us a guided tour of the nearby Berber village, something that you just wouldn’t get on the regular tourist trail. Have to say the food was also excellent (maybe best breakfast we had in Morocco). Amazing view from our bedroom and hotel is walking distance to the todgha gorge.
