Aji's Fruit Farm is a unique place to stay. The cottage/bungalow has two bedrooms, complete kitchen facilities, air-conditioning and a washing machine!!! The wide verandah has comfortable table and chairs for relaxing and taking in the breeze. The cottage is situated amid grassy coconut groves on an award-winning fruit farm. Just meters away is the property lake front where you can swim. At the you have a lovely cabana, hammocks and swing (with outdoor restaurant under construction). Sunrise view from the cabana should not be missed followed by a delicious breakfast. Aji is a wonderful, thoughtful host. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from Uda Walawe NP, so within easy access, and a lovely peaceful alternative. We were sorry we could only stay one night.

The bathroom that separates the shower area from the toilet! This was the only place where we didn’t have to wipe up the toilet seat after taking a shower in Sri Lanka. The hot shower, cooling a/c, clean bed linens and towels,,things that are standard in the western countries are not always the case in Sri Lanka, so this was really a nice experience. The staff were really nice as well.

This really is a home away from home in the beautiful Sri Lankan jungle. Prabath and his family are so incredibly welcoming and generous they really look after you and make sure you have everything you need. Prabath's wife's Sri Lankan cooking is SO delicious and very generous portions. Prabathh was a truly lovely host and has become an amazing friend. He took us to nearby places in the village like the local river to swim in and a wonderful restaurant called Garlic Cafe run by his friend (we really recommend eating lunch here!!) The property is so incredible with most of the buildings handbuilt by Prabath with hammocks and a pool to cool off in. We can't thank Prabath and his family for our stay they made it so memorable and overwhelmed us with their hospitality. We will definitely be back!!

We loved the homestay and felt really welcomed by the owner and his family. It's a nice place to stay for 2 nights to feel relaxed when roadtripping. We had the best driver for our 8 hour safari, enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and homemade sri lankan dinner. If you want to try a good Ayurvedic massage, ask for it though the owner and he will guide you to his friend, who offers the best treatment. Also a short visit to the elephant orphanage nearby was worth seeing, and you support the orginasation to continue the care taking. Loved this stay, and would come back!

The nicest family on the whole island. For two days with them I felt at home, you could really rest on the canal with a coconut in your hand. The family has easily arranged for you to go on safari, they will prepare wonderful meals. The head of the family is a great cook:) breakfast and evening meals are amazing. Everywhere, exotic plants and wild animals give this place charm.

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at this hotel, where the manager stood out for their friendly and honest approach, making us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options, and the service was very good throughout. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
