The staff were superb. charming, kind and very knowledgeable. Avinka was incredible, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and leading us on our trek through the wilderness to find over 17 elephants was such a thrill. Mr Kumana was also so helpful and a great guide. the chef was very talented, considering we were in the jungle, the meals he created for us were some of the best we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everyone we met during our two nights stay were just the sweetest people. The entire experience was fantastic and we totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the joys of the Sri Lankan jungle with 5 star accommodation and food.

The hotel is run by the most charming family ever. The host is a kind and polite guy who does everything to make you comfortable. The room is really basic but the price/quality ratio is great, I got what I paid for and more. Calm and picturesque location and, surprisingly, no mosquitoes! Perfect for a short stay.

Clive and his wife were absolutely incredible hosts. They gave us our pick of whichever room we wanted, made sure we always had tea or coffee whenever we were at home and cooked us both traditional Sri Lankan food as well as unique dishes from our own countries. We arrived with a tuk tuk and there was plenty of parking and they had excellent recommendations of what to do in the area. World class hospitality. Would 10/10 stay again.

Convenient location close to the main road. Comfortable rooms with hot water showers. Most of the shops and restaurants were closed due to Covid situation but you can get almost anything from Belihuloya town. Best if you could get your stuff from Balangoda or Haputale towns.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
