Where to begin. This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

Everything…I sent tribal village a message through booking.com and he picked me up from bus stop.it was a 5/10 minute motorcycle ride and as soon as I arrived at the Homestay I felt at home.basic bamboo bungalow,clean and comfortable,cold water shower with a hammock on the balcony and all the bungalows set in a lovely garden..there is a small restaurant good prices and good food.Mr & Mrs Smey we’re lovely people,and their son was lovely,a big ball of energy,I had a lot of fun playing with him.they explained where the lake and waterfalls were and sorted me out a motorcycle so I could visit and go exploring,also they can sort out transport to your next destination and the van picks you up from the Homestay.from Monday to Friday between 4 & 7 Mr Smey holds English classes for the local children,where he teaches them how to read and speak English.lovely,friendly,smiling children,a couple of times I sat in with their classes and had conversations with the children,a fantastic experience.when I’m back in Ban Lung I will definitely be staying there again

the excellent homestay was really great, the owners have 3 wonderful children. the family are friendly, helpful and kind people. Dinners are usually held according to the wishes of tourists. after a wonderful dinner, delicious exotic fruits are served accompanied by conversation. We loved the family very much. you can stay here in peace of mind. you can find everything you want here. I hope we will come to Cambodia again soon. we will visit the family again. thank you very much again.🙏🙏🙏See you again 😊

Great place to stay! He helped arrange my bus to and from Banlung, I arranged my 3d2n tour with him, had great dinners & breakfasts there, met lovely people. The trek was my favorite experience in Cambodia :)

We had the happiest stay at the family guesthouse, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The family took great care of us and made us feel at home, we can say we will miss them! The guesthouse is a fantastic value for money, and the food is among the best we tried in Cambodia, delicious and plenty. The location is beautiful, with great views and at a convenient situation to visit the main attractions. In a cosy restaurant next to the guesthouse their delicious tradicional grandma's noodle soup is served and is worth a try. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure to spend some time with the family at your beautiful place :)
