It was a very special experience for us to live in Saiko and Brett's beautiful Japanese house. Saiko and Brett are very warm and lovable hosts, contact with them was always very quick and efficient. We were picked up from the bus stop when we arrived and taken to the train station when we left, which was of course extremely comfortable. The house is so lovingly decorated, with a great mix of old furnishings, modern furnishings and artistic design. The kitchen is very well equipped with extremely nice dishes, so we could cook and eat well. Everything was super clean and there were even dishtowels that, like the towels, were replaced. For our trip to Naoshima Island we were able to rent e-bikes from Brett and Saiko. It was nice that Brett showed us the other buildings on the property and told us about his plans for them. We very much hope that these plans can be realized!

This is by far the best lodging I had experienced throughout my Japan trip. The location is very good, you can get there either by bus or by train. It is very close to the port and easy to take the ferry to the nearby islands. The Inn is surrounded by restaurants & convenient stores, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is so comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay in Uno Port Inn. The toilet / bathroom is big enough and very clean. I met amazing staffs at Uno Port Inn, they are so friendly and so helpful. The attend to my request and provided useful information to me. They really brighten up my trip in Japan. Also, they serve delicious breakfast. So make sure you include breakfast in your stay.

The house is great, the location is perfect and the staff is amazing. It was very clean and we had a lovely stay. The owner left some food for us (bread, bananas, coffee and jam) and was very welcoming.
