Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. One of the best place we stay at. The services provided by the hotel, and the very nice hotel staff were top notch. The in room private onsen, and the public one was excellent. We stayed in a Japanese style room, love all the detail of the corridor and the style. We especially enjoy the half board meals provided. I recommend anyone stay there to get it. I’ll definitely come back again if I’m visiting Nara again. Hotel is located very close to the train station and buses are easy walk to.

Bed comfortable - lovely to stay in a ryokan. Marginally stressful with rambunctious 10yo and paper walls! The owner was amazing and exceptionally kind. My husband needed medical attention and he rang around to find out what was open on public holiday and then drove him to hospital, translated and drove him home. Lovely clean, comfortable accommodation within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The amenities had everything we needed during our stay, and the beds were very comfortable. If you want to make your own food the kitchen is also well equipped. Each room had its own heating so we didn't have to worry about the cooler weather this time of year. The host gave us all the information we needed to access the property in English, so if you can't speak Japanese it's no problem.
