Everything’s so perfect ~~ The owner Oshi San was super helpful. The room is spacious and with view overlooking a garden. It’s so lovely with a green view in summer. It’s a quiet location so I sleep pretty well. And the meals prepared are Fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. [heart].

The location of the house was in a residential neighbourhood in the suburbs of Nagano city, so it was very quiet and quite safe. Access to the house was quite easy from Kirihara station (approx. 7-10 minutes on foot). The house itself was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the futon beds were comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful (he spoke English and Italian on top of Japanese), and as he is a wine connaisseur and importer, we were also able to buy and taste some excellent wines during our stay. The owner also provided us with coffee, herb tea and apples (locally grown).

We had everything we needed and went for the short walk to nagano village for dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We had an issue with the heating but the owner of the property messaged me straight away to get it sorted, so that was appreciated.

It had an excellent bath area. The rooms were large enough. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant but we had breakfast which was good but not great. We used the hotel as a base whilst visiting the Monkey Park and onsen villages. The staff helped us ship luggage to Tokyo.
