Wonderful country guest house with lots of space, character and artistic flair. Railway station about 20 mins walk and local restaurants 15-20 minutes. We visited Komagane to go hiking up Mt Kiso Komatage which didnt disappoint. Lovely host welcomed us on arrival

Everything’s top notch and beautiful. The food is great, the location couldn’t be better, right next to a bus stop by the river, with views to the central alps and the woods. The staff is so polite and helpful. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

It was super cosy and they provide yukatas for you to wear area the property. The Onsen had an indoor and outdoor one, and I really enjoyed it! The dining was amazing, you get a private area for breakfast with everything beautifully prepared (it’s done with so much finesse and love). I highly recommend the dinner Omakase too, it was such a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming down to Komagane. You can take the bus from the JR train station and it stops right outside the hotel. Was so happy I chose this place to stay for 2 nights. :)
